Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team of compassionate professionals. As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional veterinary care to a diverse range of companion animals. You will work alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive environment that encourages teamwork, skill enhancement, and ongoing development.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough physical examinations, diagnose medical conditions, and recommend appropriate treatment plans for animals under your care.
Perform routine surgeries, including spays, neuters, and dental procedures, as well as more complex surgeries when required.
Prescribe medications and administer treatments in accordance with best veterinary practices and legal regulations.
Interact compassionately with pet owners, offering clear explanations of diagnoses and treatment options.
Collaborate with colleagues, including veterinarians, veterinary nurses, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
Maintain accurate and complete medical records for each patient, documenting diagnoses, treatments, and progress.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Provide guidance and mentorship to veterinary interns, nurses, and other team members.
Adhere to strict ethical standards and promote animal welfare and well-being.

Yourself

Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognized institution.
Registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) or eligibility to register.
Strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality care to animals.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and colleagues.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Empathy, compassion, and a genuine concern for the welfare of animals.
