Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our team of animal care experts. As a Veterinary Nurse, you will contribute to the well-being of animals by providing compassionate nursing care, supporting veterinarians, and fostering strong relationships with pet owners.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians in a wide range of clinical procedures, including surgical preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and post-operative care.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate dosages and timely administration.
Perform various diagnostic procedures, such as radiography, laboratory tests, and sample collection.
Monitor and maintain the health and comfort of hospitalized patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Educate pet owners on topics like medication administration, preventive care, and post-operative instructions.
Provide compassionate nursing care to patients, including grooming, feeding, and maintaining cleanliness.
Assist with emergency cases, demonstrating quick thinking and effective teamwork in critical situations.
Maintain accurate medical records and update patient files with relevant information.
Support the practice in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness, adhering to infection control protocols.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care and a positive client experience.

Yourself

Qualified Veterinary Nurse with registration or eligibility to register with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
Strong clinical skills and a genuine passion for animal welfare.
Excellent communication skills, both with colleagues and pet owners.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating attention to detail.
Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centric approach to nursing care.
Ability to handle challenging and emotionally sensitive situations with professionalism.
