Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse Assistant to join our team of animal care experts. As a Veterinary Nurse Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the veterinary team, assisting with patient care, and contributing to the overall well-being of animals.
Responsibilities
Assist veterinary nurses and veterinarians in various clinical procedures, including patient restraint, medication administration, and basic diagnostic tests.
Help with patient preparation for surgeries and procedures, ensuring cleanliness and organization in the treatment areas.
Provide assistance during radiography, laboratory tests, and sample collection, following established protocols.
Support the comfort and hygiene of hospitalized patients through grooming, feeding, and maintaining their living spaces.
Assist with the cleaning and sterilization of equipment, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Greet and interact with pet owners, helping them feel comfortable and addressing their queries in a friendly and professional manner.
Maintain accurate records of patient care activities, treatments administered, and other relevant information.
Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and a positive client experience.
Handle routine administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing inventory.
Display a compassionate and patient-centered approach in all interactions with animals and their owners.
